What is success?

Success by definition is accomplishing a desired aim or result, socially success would be described as achieving fame, wealth, social status, or a mix of each but success is subjective so it could be something a lot smaller and more personal to the person looking to succeed.

Success in the music industry

In the music industry as an artist you aim to sell the music you create and tour with it and selling merchandise as you do so, in order to do this as an artist a target market should be identified, using this information from the target market research prices, styles of music and clothing, as well as the visual appearance as an artist or band can be chosen. To be a musician you will need to be profitable as people will need to invest time and money into what you're creating, therefore a musician should be on time, reliable, original, have a professional attitude, and a balanced combination of talent, visual appearance, personality, and knowledge of both music and being self supported even when signed to a record label.
