What was the performance technique that you picked in your last form and how did it help you in your pod session?
Playing with a drum beat/metronome helped to set a tempo of 120bpm to follow and have been dividing the structure of the song into smaller parts which I would repeat until it was much smoother and was in time with the tempo.
How were your pod sessions over the last week and what progression did you make?
The pod sessions were fairly unproductive but provided some needed practice time to improve my playing.
What is your approach to songwriting and do you believe that your method is effective?
At the moment I am using the three chord theory to write a chord progression to use as a foundation for the rest of the song.
What genre is your band and how do you cater your composition approach to ensure your songs fit this genre?
Rock/Punk/Nu-metal/Metal
Keeping in mind the genre of your band how do you plan to market yourselves in order to get outside gigs?
I don't plan to market the products at the moment as I am not in a band and I would be unable to play the recorded material live at gigs.
Do you believe that your band would be ready to play a 30 minute set this weekend? If so why? If not why and what measures should you put in place to ensure you're gig ready?
There is not enough material produced at this time and there is only myself which wouldn't work for a live performance as more than one instrument (or a vocalist) would be needed.
