Pick one of your rehearsals from last week and describe step by step what happened during it

I continued to rehearse Summer of 69 and specifically looked at the composition of the solo and started to form ideas of re-positioning segments of the track and experimenting with different chord types.

How often to you go into a practice with an aim for you to complete by the end of it? (e.g. polish instrumentation section/compose chord progression for chorus/develop drum beat for last song etc.)

I always have an idea of something I would like to work on.

Would you say that you structure or plan your practice?

  • Yes

  • No

  • To some extent

Explain why you either plan, slightly plan or don't plan your practices?

I form ideas of what I would like to do with a track however it is only until I am having a practice session that I can decide if the idea is possible with my musical ability and its musical context within the song.

Do you think that you and your band would benefit from planning your practices a bit more? Explain why?

Probably, however not having a band means I don't need as extensive planning as if I was in a band as there are less instruments and people to counter for.
